E-Z Way Auto Sales (“we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit e-zwayautosales.com (the “Site”), fill out a form, apply for financing, make a payment or contact us through the Site, and how we use, share and protect that information. By using the Site, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

If you apply for or obtain financing through us, we will also give you our separate consumer financial privacy notice as required by the federal Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act. That notice explains how we handle the nonpublic personal information of our financing customers and, where it differs from this policy, it controls for that information.

  • Show you relevant advertising on other websites and social media platforms
  • Analyze and improve the Site and our services
  • Verify identity and detect and prevent fraud and other unlawful activity
  • Review job applications
  • Comply with legal, regulatory and recordkeeping requirements, and protect our rights

5. How We Share Your Information

We may share your information with:

  • Service providers that help us run our business and the Site, such as website hosting, customer relationship management (CRM), credit application, payment processing, messaging and analytics providers, which may use it only to provide services to us
  • Lenders, finance companies and consumer reporting agencies, when you apply for financing or when needed to service or collect an account
  • Providers of products you choose to buy with your vehicle, such as service contracts, warranties or insurance products

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your mobile phone number or your consent to receive text messages with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

We keep personal information for as long as we need it for the purposes described in this policy, including to complete and service vehicle sales and financing, and for as long as the law requires us to keep it (for example, records of credit applications, sales and financing). When we no longer need it, we securely delete or de-identify it.

8. Your Choices and Rights

Text messages. If you agree to receive text messages from us, message frequency varies and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts, or HELP for help. Your consent is not a condition of buying a vehicle or obtaining financing.

Calls and email. You can ask us to stop calling you at any time, and you can unsubscribe from marketing emails with the link in each email. We may still contact you about a vehicle purchase, an application or an account you have with us.

Your information. Depending on the state you live in, you may have the right to ask us to:

  • Tell you what personal information we hold about you and give you a copy
  • Correct inaccurate information
  • Delete your information
  • Stop using your information for targeted advertising

We will verify your identity before acting on a request and will respond within the time the law requires. We may keep information that the law requires us to keep, such as financing records. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. To make a request, contact us at:

We use administrative, technical and physical safeguards designed to protect your personal information, including:

  • HTTPS encryption on the Site
  • Secure storage and access controls that limit who can see your information
  • Training for staff who handle customer information

No website or data storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee the security of your information. Please do not send sensitive information, such as your Social Security number, by regular email; use our secure credit application instead.

10. Children’s Privacy

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. You must be at least 18 years old to apply for financing or buy a vehicle from us. If we learn that we have collected information from a child under 13, we will delete it. If you believe a child has given us information, please contact us.

The Site links to and includes services run by other companies, such as our secure credit application, our online payment portal, maps, chat and social media pages. Information you enter in those services is also subject to that provider’s own privacy policy. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of websites and services we do not control.
